Google Product works!

In the continuing saga of getting the new e-commerce site Truckeo.com up and running, I attempted to make a feed for Froogle aka Google Products. The first several attempts at using automated software failed miserably. It seems that the feed requirement changes have outpaced the software's development. Oh well.

So I did it manually, and began learning the errors of my ways. After a few attempts, I got all the bugs out and the feed was displaying results the next day. The best part is that we made a sale of a Truxxx F-150 lift kit the first day! So, to summarize - zero cost, and $179 in revenue in one day! Woo hoo!

Analyze this!

Google Analytics is now on the site. Now I can track all the people (three of you now) that come to the site. Pictures are still a work in progress, hopefully soon they will all be up.

Next we need to roll out an affiliate program, and start looking for some link love.....

You can help out by linking to our leveling kits.

What is in a name?

We are selling bull bars, cow catchers, grille guards, bumper thumpers, sport bumpers, light bars, cowboy bars and bumper guards. Of course they are all the same thing.

It is just funny to me how many different names there are for the same thing!

Another weekend, another weekend full of work

The new site - el Truckeo is still a work in progress, but at least now it has pictures for some of the products. Yes, you can SEE what a nerf bar looks like before buying one - previously you had to take my word on it.

Other picture types uploaded - drop steps, tube steps, grille guards and uh,,, I forget.
